I was extremely let down by my experience here. Upon arrival, I found the salon to be charming, and the staff was friendly enough. My hairdresser, Becca, was pleasant and chatty. I explained what I wanted - a balayage style with lighter accents, making sure to avoid any orange tones or chunky highlights for a more subtle, blended look. Despite Becca's friendliness, I had to ask for my layers to be redone three times as there seemed to be no layers at all. She clipped up the top part of my hair and left it untouched while dyeing only the bottom part. When I inquired about adding more color or distributing it evenly, she assured me it would look good and turned me away from the mirror. After rinsing the color out, I saw that it was turning orange and lacked the variety I desired. I expressed my dissatisfaction, but Becca insisted it looked great. She blow-dried my hair, and I still wasn't pleased with the color or the lack of layers. When I voiced my concerns, she kept suggesting I could live with it for a week and come back for a fix if needed. She was unwilling to make any immediate changes. I never got a chance to see the back of my hair in a mirror, and upon reaching home, I discovered why - she had cut three inches off my hair unevenly, leaving me with damaged, orange ends. When I initially called for a balayage and cut, I was quoted $85, which ended up being $220. This was the most I had ever spent on my hair, and I was deeply disappointed with the outcome. The day after my appointment, I spoke to the owner, Carla, about a refund. Initially polite, she turned cold and defensive when I mentioned a refund, displaying unprofessional behavior. She insisted on a no refund policy but offered to fix it for free. I declined, already having made an appointment elsewhere, and requested a refund. I offered to send pictures for her assessment. If a refund was not possible, I would post an honest review and dispute the charge with my bank. Carla reacted negatively, claiming it was unfair to post a bad review when she offered a free fix. I assured her of posting only the truth and including her offer. The cut and color were awful, as shown in the pictures. I will never return to this salon and will not recommend it to anyone. Disappointed with the stylist's lack of skill and the owner's unprofessionalism. One star is a generous rating.

I was in search of a fresh stylist when I stumbled upon this review from Sophia L. If your stylist doesn't heed your wishes, I'd be irked as well and see where you're coming from. I also noted the owner's remarks about box dye on your hair. In my own encounter, after using box dye on my hair, six months later, I wanted a vivid, bright hair color and was assured they could achieve it with no issues. However, after the process, my hair went from being long to being damaged to the point where I could spike it up. The stylist didn't take the time to care for the overall health of my hair, and I left with darker hair as my hair couldn't handle more damage. I'd rather pay the $220 you mentioned than spend $400-$600 and leave the salon with no hair. At least your stylist cared enough to protect your hair.

I had an appointment scheduled. Waited for more than 15 minutes past my appointment time without acknowledgment, and then the owner gave me strange excuses, blaming me. I may never know if they give good haircuts. Unhappy with the owner's attitude.
