The service at this establishment is lacking in good customer care. I have been a client here for nearly a year, and while I adore my stylist, Alexa Rae, the front desk staff is not very helpful. On May 9, I needed to have my eyelashes removed due to an allergic reaction. I rushed from Dinuba to make it within the 15-minute grace period, which I did. However, the stylist, Misty, left without the front desk even checking if I was on my way or if I was still coming. The text I received beforehand mentioned the 15-minute interval, not clarifying that a 30-minute appointment only allows for a 5-minute grace period. It was my first 30-minute appointment, and she left, charging me $25. I requested a refund since it was my first time and I was unaware of the 5-minute policy, but the staff was uncooperative. Even credit card companies would reverse a charge for a first-time late payment. I do not recommend this place. The staff is not friendly at all.
Overall, my experience was quite positive. I am deducting 1 star because I was extremely cautious and slept like a statue, yet I noticed a significant number of lashes falling off the following day on my right eye. By bedtime, I had lost 10 lashes, and each day after that, I continued to lose 2-3 on each side. As a first-timer, I'm unsure if this is normal, but paying $130 only to lose a chunk the next day was disappointing. I didn't wear makeup, rub my eyes, or even go outside. They did offer to accommodate me over the weekend, but after agreeing, I never received a follow-up. I got caught up with school and other commitments.
I had a wonderful experience at The Lash Lounge. I have been a patron for approximately 3 years and I must say they are highly efficient with time. In the past, I've had other lash technicians who took 3-4 hours to do what The Lash Lounge accomplishes in just 2 hours for a full set. Refills only take 1 hour, and the staff is quite amiable. The photo I shared showcases a classic set in D curl, giving a very natural look.
