AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Yesterday, my 14-year-old (a high-achieving student and athlete) was falsely accused of theft as she was about to pay for her items at the checkout. Our family is respected and hardworking members of the Clinton community, and my daughter has never stolen anything in her life. I refuse to tolerate mistreatment towards us or our children in our community.
I entered the store to exchange a hair color product because it was missing the color pack and only had the developer in the box. The staff members assisting were extremely rude for no apparent reason. The product ended up turning my hair a greenish color, and I will not be returning to this store.
I’ve visited this beauty store multiple times without any issues. However, today, it was the female employee of African descent who disrespected me greatly. The female manager of Asian descent asked her to assist me. The African employee walked past me without acknowledging me, and instead asked another customer if they needed help. The Asian manager confirmed that I needed assistance, but the African employee ignored her and walked away. The Asian manager seemed surprised and confused, as she had specifically instructed the African employee to help me. If I were the manager, I would have given the African employee a serious warning about her behavior towards customers. I was completely shocked by the treatment I received and have decided not to return to that store.
