Brandy has been my hairstylist for around 12 years, and I have never encountered any problems with her skills. Over the years, when I wanted to try something different but didn't know which direction to go in, her suggestion was exactly what I desired. Brandy is a fantastic stylist and operates a professional salon with a relaxed atmosphere.
I arrived for an appointment today at noon seeking a new hairdresser to do my undercut. The person from Southern Roots called me and arranged the cut. I explained over the phone that I wanted it scissor-cut, not with clippers. She indicated I would need to provide more details when I arrived. Upon arrival, the lady was brusque and dismissive from the moment I stepped in. She never greeted me, but the other lady was very pleasant and interacted with my children. The stylist asked with an attitude what I was trying to achieve, and I said I just wanted the undercut. She abruptly interrupted me and rudely stated she couldn't do that, as Bri is the one who handles men's cuts and an undercut is also a women's style. She was snappy, and everything she said carried aggressive undertones. I have never been treated so poorly by another individual. I told her she was being very rude and that I don't think I'll cut my hair here. She replied, "That's fine, you can leave my salon." I inquired if she treated all her customers this way, and she said no, just me. I explained that I had never encountered such a terrible person. As I walked out the door, I told her what she truly was and left. I do not recommend visiting this establishment, but if you do, request the kind lady with the bob haircut, not the extremely angry, self-loathing, hateful young woman in the first chair.
Tammy did an excellent job cutting my thick, naturally curly hair. I recently relocated to this region and had to change hairdressers after two decades. I was a bit anxious (rightfully so, if you have this hair type you will understand), but I left very pleased after delaying it for a few months and leaving a substantial pile of hair on the floor.
