Visiting here was exactly what I desired from the dermatologist (but even better) and I received a facial!!
I was quite let down. I visited for a facial clean and explicitly inquired beforehand if they would extract pimples, to which they affirmed. However, it turned out to be 20 minutes of an unnecessary facial massage with no steaming to open pores. The extraction itself lasted about 10 minutes and only covered perhaps 10% of what could have been done. Typically, a thorough extraction takes a minimum of 30 minutes. There was no mask afterwards to close pores or disinfect the skin. All my blackheads and pimples were left untouched—such a squander of money. Normally, extractions occupy the majority of the appointment time, and I specifically emphasized that my primary goal was addressing acne issues and thoroughly cleansing all my pores.
Post-facial, she suggested a lineup of products that would be beneficial for my skin. They are not affiliated with any specific brands, so there's no ulterior motive if you make a purchase. She forwarded me a list of products, where to purchase them, why they would be beneficial, and when to incorporate them into my skincare routine. It all fit within a budget that I could manage. Whether you lean towards luxury brands or more budget-friendly skincare, they will guide you on the best brands and products!!
