I gave 2 stars because the 2 individuals were truly KIND, but when I took my 11-year-old child for a haircut today, he left looking TERRIBLE. He always dreads getting his hair cut because he dislikes his bangs being too short, resembling a bowl cut that exposes his forehead, which he feels is too large. I specifically instructed the gentleman to NOT trim his bangs too short, only to even them out while keeping them long. However, he proceeded to cut my son's bangs haphazardly with one hand, accidentally poking him in the eye TWICE with the scissors. The end result was a completely uneven and choppy mess, making him resemble Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber! My poor son was in HYSTERICS, and I must admit, the haircut is dreadful!! It is the EPITOME of a bowl cut; I could have done a better job in my own kitchen. I coordinated with his teacher for him to wear a hat at school for the entire week. If that was not an option, I would have kept him home - that's how severe it is. It's disheartening because this place boasts 5-star reviews, but I fail to see why. I regret my decision to come here and subject my son to this haircut. I hope his hair grows out swiftly!!
