I recall when the YMCA was first constructed and opened, males and boys were permitted to wear basketball shorts for swimming, but not jean or cut-off shorts! When did this rule change to only allow swimming in swimming trunks for boys and men? It's frustrating to wait for a family to purchase a family pass, only to be told that children can't swim unless they have swimming trunks. And when they requested a refund, they were denied!
