The masseuse was overly forceful, even applying pressure to my spine, which I believe is unsafe. It feels like I sustained an injury. Most certified massage therapists avoid direct manipulation of the spine, and if they do touch it, it's with gentle pressure. I refuse to accept that deep tissue massage is meant to be painful—this went beyond that. I am still grappling with the repercussions, relying on pain relief medication. If my condition doesn't improve, I may have to seek medical and potentially legal counsel. Furthermore, the masseuse demanded a tip after the session, which felt inappropriate given the circumstances. The overall ambiance was unpleasant, and the staff member on duty was quite impolite. Based on my encounter, I cannot endorse this establishment.
