For a location that supposedly offers care for the elderly, they are incredibly impolite and insensitive individuals. The manner in which they engage with them is entirely transactional, and they only maintain a facade of kindness because it benefits them financially. The supervisor prioritizes retaining staff over the well-being of the residents; the staff (especially the VAN DRIVERS) show minimal concern for the residents. Seriously. These are elderly individuals; they seek to be engaged and uplifted, not to experience stress and feel pressured to appear presentable while they are there. Show them respect and compassion. I have specific instances, but they are too lengthy to detail, so I'll leave it at this. My grandmother stayed at this facility for a considerable period, and I eventually removed her after enduring and hoping that things would improve over time. They did not. Throughout, their focus was solely on financial gain and receiving government subsidies. Utterly absurd. If you are considering a place for your grandmother/grandfather of United States nationality to stay, seek alternatives. There are numerous other choices available at a comparable cost with staff who at least appear willing to be there.
