While my pedicure experience was delightful, the nail service was disappointing. I simply wanted some short gel nails with a red tip. However, there was uneven acrylic application on the sides of my nails, and the top surface was lumpy with excess gloss. It was a truly unpleasant nail experience, and I wouldn't return for nail services. Especially considering the increased cost of acrylic nails compared to the past. These photos were taken within 12 hours of getting my nails done. The feet treatment was good, but the nail service was not up to par. Additionally, they started my nails while I was still receiving my pedicure and asked me to turn off the massager because it was causing issues. I only gave a 2-star rating because of the pedicure. And just to clarify, two different individuals performed the services; the one who did my nails was the older one who has been there for a long time. Perhaps it's time for an upgrade or to let the younger technicians take over.
These are the worst nails I've ever had. I'm visiting from out of state and these nails make me want to catch the next flight back to my regular nail technician. When I showed a regular customer here, they mentioned that they never see nails done like this. It felt like they were rushing due to the impending snowstorm.
My sister and I visited yesterday for 2 full sets. We both opted for stiletto shape. The nail technician who worked on hers did an exceptional job. They were perfectly even and looked dangerously beautiful. My nails, on the other hand, looked like the less impressive, dull cousin. Being quiet and shy, I didn't voice my concerns, but some of my nails were crooked and she filed them too much, making them lose their sharpness. I prefer them sharp. After going home and fixing the shape myself, they look much better. However, the acrylic on a couple of nails is uneven, with one side being thicker than the other. During the prep of my natural nails, she used the Dremel carelessly, making me doubt their longevity. This wasn't the best nail experience for me, but it wasn't the worst either. On a positive note, their pricing is quite reasonable. UPDATE: Only 12 days have passed, and I've had to glue most of them back on due to the lack of attention to detail during the prep. The nail technician who worked on my sister's nails did a fantastic job, but unfortunately, the one who did mine did not.
