I require extensive hand care for excessively dry skin and calluses around my nails. I visited this salon hoping to receive some tender loving care for my fingertips, rather than just a superficial polishing. I am delighted to report that I had a wonderful experience at Polished Nails salon and will definitely be returning. I received a thorough emery filing of my calluses and a nourishing cuticle oil treatment. I am overjoyed. As an older individual, the maintenance and treatment of my skin is a top priority. The salon exudes a peaceful and hygienic atmosphere, and the manicurists were pleasant and professional. I appreciated the intimate setting of the smaller salon; it felt like a rejuvenating indulgence, which is exactly what I needed.

While my pedicure experience was delightful, the nail service was disappointing. I simply wanted some short gel nails with a red tip. However, there was uneven acrylic application on the sides of my nails, and the top surface was lumpy with excess gloss. It was a truly unpleasant nail experience, and I wouldn't return for nail services. Especially considering the increased cost of acrylic nails compared to the past. These photos were taken within 12 hours of getting my nails done. The feet treatment was good, but the nail service was not up to par. Additionally, they started my nails while I was still receiving my pedicure and asked me to turn off the massager because it was causing issues. I only gave a 2-star rating because of the pedicure. And just to clarify, two different individuals performed the services; the one who did my nails was the older one who has been there for a long time. Perhaps it's time for an upgrade or to let the younger technicians take over.
