My pharmacy experience warrants no stars. I phoned in a prescription on Monday and was assured it'd be ready post-12:00 on Tuesday. Arriving at the drive-thru at 4:00 on Tuesday, I waited a considerable time before any employee acknowledged my presence. I was then informed my prescription wasn't prepared. With plans that evening, I mentioned I'd return on Wednesday. Once more, at 4:30, I visited the drive-thru only to hear my prescription still wasn't ready. Asked to circle back and wait in line for filling. I inquired about curbside pickup but was told no staff was available. Valuing my time, I opted to return home and try again on Thursday. Three trips for one prescription. While Drug Mart was once convenient, due to this level of service, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
I've never encountered a store so distrustful of customers as if they're out to pilfer items. If theft is the concern, more cameras should be installed to safeguard products. Placing family planning items behind the cashier counter and requesting customers to point out their desired items for handover is unacceptable. It infringes on the customer's right to choose, inspect, and understand the product's side effects before making a purchase with their own money. Usually, I shop on Amazon for convenience and simplicity. No hassle. This visit to the drug mart will likely be my first and last.
I swiftly receive my medications here. They offer a good variety of products, but the prices are a tad steep.
