My friends were surprised that they left my overgrown nails untouched after a fill. When I requested them to trim it down because it looked unappealing, she made a fuss about it, claiming that's how it should look after a fill. I genuinely don't understand how they retain regular customers - except for the fact that they seem to treat older ladies with more respect. I assumed we were all spending the same amount of money and time there? It's disappointing that I won't be returning, especially since it's the nearest nail salon to me. I'm willing to drive all the way to Murray for some quality work at this point.
I opted to bring my mom along for mani/pedis. We ended up spending $160 for two mani-pedis, so with the tip, it totaled $210. (We opted for the $30 pedicures, which meant our manicures were $100!!). Not only was the staff extremely impolite, but the manicurist was on her Bluetooth talking for about 20 minutes, displaying poor communication skills. I've been getting my nails done at Vietnamese salons for over two decades, understanding and respecting their cultural differences. However, arguing with me over round or square nails, and disregarding my questions left me quite irritated. I used to be a regular here some years ago. I used to get dip nails, but they wouldn't last even a week, and I didn’t have the time or energy to keep returning for fixes. The owner is very kind, but the service and quality do not match that of a high-end salon for the prices charged. I won't be returning.
Kim and Amy always do a fantastic job!! I’m quite particular about my nails, but they consistently meet my expectations! They always check in with me to ensure I’m content throughout the entire process. The initial color I chose wasn't to my liking (lighter than expected), but she kindly offered me various options from another collection and patiently waited until I found one that I was pleased with. Truly remarkable talent and patience.
