Newcomers Beware. I'm a fresh face at CC and thought I had thoroughly researched to find a top-notch hair salon. Recently, I experienced significant hair loss and needed guidance on the best hairstyle. Upon entering, I expressed my preference to pay for a consultation rather than risk a haircut mishap. However, the stylist exuded confidence and swiftly led me to the wash area. She suggested trimming 1 1/2 inches, to which I consented. Moments later, I glanced at the floor and saw at least 6" of hair lying there. I reminded her of the 1 1/2" agreement, to which she replied, "well, that was just for the front". I also mentioned that my hair tends to curl more when shorter. Once she finished, and I resembled Little Orphan Annie, she remarked, "well, that curled a lot more than I thought it would". Overwhelmed with tears, I had to pull over on my way home. Eventually, I turned back and requested her to straighten it. After about 30 minutes, she accommodated me. I dislike leaving negative reviews and have waited several days before sharing this experience. However, I hope to prevent others from encountering the same ordeal. If you decide to visit, I recommend only allowing Kathy to trim maybe 1/2" at a time to ensure satisfaction. Wishing you better luck than I had.
