My spouse has been quite ill for the past few months. We have been utilizing Medistore pharmacy and have been let down. The individuals assisting at the drive-thru window have been impolite to me each time I've visited for his medications. And to make matters worse, today my spouse underwent surgery and we were discharged right before Medistore's closing time. I phoned them at 5:56 pm and informed them I'm en route, I will be at most 5 minutes but please have his medication ready (it was already filled) and don't shut before I arrive. The gentleman replied, "sorry, but we close at 6." I said I am speeding through Carterville trying to get there as swiftly as possible, I will be there as swiftly as I can. He was just discharged and requires these medications to be able to avoid being readmitted to the hospital tonight. He replied, "sorry, we close at 6 so if you arrive by 6 we can assist you." He then terminated the call while I was still speaking. Fortunately, I arrived right at 6 on the dot. I comprehend closing times, but I would be willing to wait a minute or two for someone to arrive when they are on the phone, en route, and particularly since it was already prepared. We will no longer be patronizing Medistore, even though it's the most convenient/closest to where we reside.
