Paradise Nails 2

I had gel polish applied to my nails and toes at this salon a month ago. The gel pedicure was excellent, which is why I am giving it any stars at all. However, the gel manicure was a different story. I already had gel on my nails from a previous salon visit. I accompanied my mother to this salon, as I usually avoid it. The technician forcefully peeled off the previous gel, causing me significant pain. He then proceeded to drill aggressively, despite my nails not being in the best condition for such treatment. Since visiting this salon, my nails have been in pain and have been breaking easily. I wish they would learn how to remove gel or acrylic properly without causing damage. It seems like their methods have not improved since my last visit. In contrast, the salon I usually frequent has always removed my gel polish correctly without any nail damage.

I visited this nail salon to celebrate a friend's birthday during my birth month. It came highly recommended, and I was specifically searching for a new nail salon as the ones in the area didn't meet my standards. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us warmly and promptly ushered us in. We selected our polish colors and designs, and they began their work. I opted for a gel polish with a delicate floral design for my nails and white gel polish for my toes. During the manicure, I found it uncomfortable as I had to keep adjusting in the chair for the technician to work on my other hand. The nails felt somewhat flimsy initially, but I assumed they would harden over time. I requested that they not file or shape my nails as I had already done so, but they proceeded to do it anyway. Despite some mishaps and needing to redo a few nails, I considered it a learning experience. However, the nails began to crack and peel within a week, causing them to break and chip. As a healthcare worker who frequently washes my hands, I have never experienced such issues with gel polish before. I am extremely dissatisfied with the outcome and will not be returning to this salon. I have included pictures of the damage, and I plan to cut my nails back to restart the growth process.

I have visited this nail salon three times, and each experience has been fantastic. I have had both pedicures and manicures done by different technicians, and they have all done an excellent job. While I am not well-versed in visiting nail salons, I found the prices to be reasonable for the quality of service I received. My nails look great, and I particularly enjoyed the hot rock treatment.
