I am thrilled to have discovered this salon in Bonsall. Having relocated to the area a little over a year ago, I only recently stumbled upon it. The staff is incredibly friendly, the services are top-notch, the salon itself is clean and modern, and they're even open on Sundays! Vivian took care of my pedicure, and I believe it was Shawna who handled my hair and makeup - both were so welcoming and helpful. What a hidden gem in Bonsall - thank you both, I will definitely be returning soon!
I visited the salon for a gel manicure and pedicure on 5/19/22. The pedicure, done by Wendy, was excellent - she was friendly and took her time. However, I was disappointed with my manicure. The individual who did it rushed through the process and did a poor job with the polish application. Upon contacting the salon, they offered to fix it, but the results were still unsatisfactory. I paid over $40 for the service and left feeling unhappy. I am hesitant to complain, as I don't like to give negative feedback, but one pays for quality service. Fast forward to today, 5/31/22, not even two weeks later, and the gel polish is already peeling off significantly. I always opt for gel nails for their longevity, and this is the first time I've experienced such rapid deterioration. Despite the salon's nearly 5-star rating, I am let down and only truly pleased with the pedicure I received.
I visited the salon, and initially, the atmosphere was filled with positive energy and a sense of happiness. The female employees were kind and gentle. However, the mood shifted when the manager entered. Her energy and demeanor seemed off, lacking in basic manners for treating people with kindness. The environment suddenly became unpleasant. The way she gazed at customers, not just her staff, made me feel uneasy. Her presence made me feel anxious and disrupted the relaxing experience people seek at a salon. As a manager, she seemed too harsh and made me feel very unsettled while she was around. I prefer to keep the specifics of her behavior private as I wish to remain anonymous in my feedback. I had a negative experience during her presence at the salon and will not return if she remains the manager. She is of European descent, and while I do not know her name, the employees at the salon would be able to identify her.
