Utterly professional with high-quality styles. I am very selective, and when I exit Beauty by Kiss, I have no criticisms. I don't need to touch my hair; I am always ready for the runway. It's rare to find both skill and professionalism in a single hairstylist, and I have discovered all of that and more in Taylor; They are exceptional!
Extremely unprofessional. Cleaned my hair with low-cost shampoo, leaving it still dirty. They attempted to braid my hair while it was dirty, but I pointed out that it hadn't been washed properly. They then insisted I pay for a partial wash. I refused, and the stylist locked the doors, stating I couldn't leave. The person washing my hair was inexperienced, didn't know how to properly wash it, was rough, impolite, and disregarded my questions while humming tunes. I have never felt as disrespected as a client. I wouldn't set foot in there again. The other customers were young adolescents.
This hair studio is absolutely the most dreadful studio to visit if you seek excellent customer care. I reserved a slot for braiding with Dana McDonald, and They verified my appointment the day before. My appointment was set for 9am. On the day of my appointment, I got a message asking me to arrive later. I emphasized that the new time wouldn't suit me, and I wished to stick to my initial appointment. I tried calling multiple times that morning, but not a single call was answered. I requested a refund of my deposit instead of receiving the service, yet my messages and calls were ignored for three days. I had to visit the studio to retrieve my deposit. Upon entering, other employees decided to meddle where they weren't welcome. As a patron and a black individual, how can you mistreat your own community in such a manner? Now I understand why there were no customers when I arrived at the establishment. That's a mentality of financial struggle.
