US Nails

Extremely disappointing experience, I paid nearly $100 for subpar nails, the worst I have ever had.

Decided to visit this establishment since it has recently come under new management. Initially, everything seemed promising as I was offered water while waiting. However, once seated, the individual attending to my nails abruptly left halfway through removing my old acrylics to work on a pedicure for another client. Upon returning, they handed me a plastic bag containing nail polish remover and a cotton ball, instructing me to remove my own nails while they continued with the pedicure. After an hour of soaking and scrubbing, I decided to leave but was stopped by another staff member who offered to complete the unfinished task. Not a place I will be revisiting. My hands were left dry and peeling from the prolonged exposure to nail polish remover.

This salon engages in overcharging practices. Despite clearly stating my preferences, I was quoted $35 for a basic one-color gel manicure. However, as I added a single diamond to each nail, the total unexpectedly surged to $55. Furthermore, the owner, who was the one performing my nails, made inappropriate and judgmental remarks after learning I was from LA. His insensitive comment about the demographic of the city left me uncomfortable. Overall, the service was mediocre, and the dishonesty and lack of professionalism make me reluctant to return.
