This marks my second visit to this establishment. The first time, I was pleased with their service. However, just one week after my most recent appointment, my SNS nails are already chipped and cracked. Upon contacting them, their response was that since it had been 10 days, they would not address the issue. Had I reached out on day 2 or 3, they would have been more accommodating. I work at a daycare and take meticulous care of my nails, ensuring they are not subjected to undue stress. Nails should not be chipping or cracking after merely a week. Furthermore, when I mentioned that I had SNS, the staff member claimed they do not offer that service, despite it being synonymous with DIP POWDER. I have no intention of returning!
I used to frequent this place. Having been traveling in and out of the nation for a while, it had been some time since my last visit. During my stay in the area, I decided to treat myself, my mother, and my niece to a relaxing pedicure. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be far from relaxing and rather unpleasant from the start for both me and my mother. The individual who attended to me, whenever I tried to communicate or provide instructions, seemed to ignore me completely. While I initially thought it might be a language barrier issue, instead of seeking assistance, he simply pretended as if I wasn't speaking at all. Throughout the session, his demeanor conveyed a lack of interest in his work. He neglected to push back or trim my cuticles, merely touching a spot on each big toe with every tool as if to fulfill a requirement. His behavior, heavy sighs, and careless handling of the tools resembled that of a disgruntled teenager tasked with chores. I had to ask him to recut my nails three times. Despite my initial request for very short nails and even cutting my big toe nails as an example, he failed to trim them down to the desired length and left them jagged and uneven. I had to constantly remind him of what to do, yet my nails remained in a messy state. It felt as if he was still in the learning phase and unsure of his techniques. I did not pay the full price to serve as a practice canvas, constantly instructing him while he struggled to comprehend, without any assistance in communication, and ultimately having to rectify the situation myself afterward. The photos I shared were taken right after I returned home. I have no intention of revisiting this establishment as the entire experience was far from relaxing and rather stressful. My mother also expressed disappointment with her pedicure, which was similarly messy with neglected cuticles.
Both my partner and I underwent a gel polish mani and pedi at this establishment. Regrettably, the gel on his nails and feet began to peel off within days of the service. Similarly, my manicure was poorly executed, with the gel lifting off my nails shortly after. We paid a total of $196, excluding tip, for such subpar work. I visited the salon to show them evidence of the unsatisfactory service we had received. Their solution was to redo the service, offering no refund. However, as my partner resides out of town, this resolution was not feasible for him. Consequently, we have decided to take our business elsewhere and will not be patronizing this salon in the future.
