Not very informative and failed to provide any advice on prevention. I had to push for information on how to avoid ingrown toenails. He didn't assist with removing the nail and made the situation worse (it's now bleeding and painful). He criticized the urgent care that performed the emergency removal, when in reality, they were helpful. Both he and his nursing staff were highly unprofessional.
I scheduled an appointment to see Dr. Patel based on a recommendation. I sought a second opinion regarding my left foot issue. When I met with him and explained my problem, he initially questioned why I was there and suggested I return to my previous podiatrist. After clarifying that I wanted a second opinion, he became more pleasant. He ordered an X-ray and recommended that I undergo another MRI. However, Dr. Patel mistakenly wrote another patient's name on the prescription for the MRI. I only noticed the error after leaving his office. To expedite the process, I contacted his office to rectify the situation, but his nurse informed me he had left for the day. I returned the next day for him to correct the prescription with my name. Dr. Patel then abruptly stated, "You need to consult a surgeon, I can't assist you." He seemed bothered by my presence and repeatedly emphasized that he was not a surgeon, despite me being aware that he is a podiatrist. For anyone considering Dr. Patel for podiatry needs, I strongly advise seeking a different professional who is respectful, professional, and compassionate. Do not waste your time with Dr. Patel; he is impolite, unprofessional, and should reconsider his medical practice. It was truly unbelievable!
This is an excellent foot specialist. She is young, intelligent, and extremely helpful. I've visited her twice in the past three years for the same issue, and she has effectively treated me both times. I believe she is undervalued and deserves more recognition. She is the best foot doctor I've ever seen. I don't understand why some people speak poorly of her; they must need evaluations because she is truly exceptional.
