Newburg Middle has truly been an exceptional school. My child received a top-notch education and is fully prepared for the challenges of High school. The Principal Mr. Adell is outstanding! He was dedicated and enthusiastic about the students and his teachers, providing me with peace of mind as a parent. I wholeheartedly recommend this school.
Honestly, the content and the material learned here are of high quality, similar to any school. If a student doesn’t perform well here, that's entirely their responsibility. Teachers and staff consistently push students to excel, and yes, there is bullying here just like in any other school. It all depends on how you handle the situation. I attended here all three years and I recall having teachers who encouraged and motivated us to strive for excellence in high school. Overall, I felt very well-prepared for high school and I appreciate the dedication and patience of the teachers here because all middle schoolers can be quite a handful at times. This school offers fantastic programs and enjoyable events, so I hope you can encourage your children/friends/family to attend here. The band program is fantastic. Sports thrive here, as does hard work. Everything the teachers convey serves a purpose, and all lessons taught are vital for high school, just a heads up.
I've had 2 of my 4 children attend Newburg Middle School. It has been a wonderful experience for both. They are 2 unique kids with varying needs that have been accommodated by the school, faculty, and staff. The educators do a phenomenal job preparing the kids for the next stage in and out of the classroom. I would recommend this school to anyone.
