I must say, I had a similar experience here. Showed a photo, clearly explained what I wanted, emphasized the importance of leaving enough length to part my hair, and just trimming the sides with a 2... What did I get? A 2 all the way up to my part, no fade in sight. It's frustrating to feel like the barber was rushing to finish rather than focusing on getting it right. Now I'm stuck looking like a fool for a month until this mess grows out.
