I have relatively short hair and I visited this salon seeking small cornrows. I showed the stylist a picture and even pulled out a strand of my hair to demonstrate its length. She assured me she could achieve the desired style. After purchasing the necessary hair from the beauty supply store and waiting for an hour, I finally sat down. To my dismay, when I removed my scarf, the stylist informed me that my hair was not long enough for cornrows and suggested I let it grow out more before attempting the style. I was extremely frustrated as I had gone through the trouble of finding parking and investing my time in a business that displayed unprofessional behavior. If you have short hair, I advise against visiting this salon as they may turn you away. I reached out to the stylist who usually does my weaves, and her daughter was able to successfully braid my "too short for cornrows" hair. The style I desired was actually much smaller and could have been easily achieved. Spare yourself the disappointment and seek services elsewhere. They will deceive you and waste your time without any remorse. It would have been more considerate if they had been upfront about their limitations.
The staff at this establishment are exceptional at braiding hair. They consistently greet me warmly and execute the braiding process with skill and precision.
I absolutely adore the intricate braiding technique they use on my hair. I willingly devote 5 hours of my day every few months to have my hair braided at this establishment. Mama and Baru are truly exceptional!
