My daughter's hair was a disaster both times my spouse took her there. They left her bangs uneven and bulky! Putting in braids doesn't make up for it! The only reason he took her there was because of the proximity to our home. The first time, I thought it could be a mistake... but the second time, no excuse! They should be embarrassed by the poor quality of work they do on children. My daughter usually enjoys getting her hair done, but they've messed it up twice now!
This salon is amazing! I stumbled upon it while searching for Brazilian Salons in New York City and have been twice since November. I have extremely curly (3b/3c) hair and I always leave with a flawless "silk press" thanks to Wendy's expertise. The prices are reasonable and the service is top-notch. Highly recommend.
Good spot with reasonable prices. The staff was welcoming even though I don't speak Spanish. I had already washed my very curly/kinky hair before my visit, so I can't comment on their washing technique, but Joanna did a fantastic job blow-drying, straightening, and giving me a nice trim. The pricing is fair, especially compared to other salons in the area. I'll definitely be returning!
