The initial experience was pleasant, but I had to abruptly leave due to an urgent matter. Upon attempting to reschedule, I encountered difficulty in reaching the salon. Despite the business hours being listed as Monday to Saturday, my calls went unanswered until Wednesday. When I finally connected, I was directed to nail technician Lena instead of the salon line. Lena instructed me to contact the salon for an appointment, which I promptly did. However, upon explaining that I needed to reschedule a Saturday service, I was met with confusion as if my identity was unknown. To add to the frustration, my mother's nail polish chipped off the same day, despite not being gel polish. The explanation given was that frequent exposure to water can cause regular polish to wear off quickly, but it should not happen on the same day. It was evident that the nails were not properly prepared. Disheartened by the poor service and the fact that payment had already been made for the Saturday appointment, I sought a refund, only to be informed that refunds were not offered, a policy not visibly displayed in the salon. Despite my initial intention to support a black-owned business, the overall experience has left a negative impression, and I have decided not to return.
