I visited the salon for a haircut after a few months since my last visit. I arrived with hair slightly past my shoulders. I showed the stylist a photo of a jellyfish cut, with hair of a similar length to mine. One of the images had shorter hair, but I specified that I preferred a longer style, pointing to the second picture for reference. While I had requested layers, I did not mention wanting a significant length reduction. Unfortunately, I left with a haircut completely different from what I desired. My hair is now so short that I resemble Kris Jenner in the photo I showed. It appears as though I am about to march into a cafe and demand to see the manager. My bangs are noticeably uneven, with the left side longer than the right. I had not expressed a desire for such short bangs, and now they look like I am growing them out after a drastic cut. During the service, the stylist mentioned blending my bangs into the rest of the cut, to which I agreed. However, I did not expect this drastic outcome. While the stylist was kind and executed the specific haircut well, it was not what I had envisioned. The length is now too short for me to seek a correction elsewhere without opting for a buzz cut.
