When I initially visited Rocci last Summer, I had planned to experiment with eyelash extensions just until Fall. I thought it would be a nice change for Summer, when I wore less makeup. However, when Fall arrived, I couldn't bear to part with my extensions! I was hooked! When I first contacted Rocci, she was seeking models on Facebook. This allowed me to ask her questions and gauge her character. I had heard frightening tales of botched lash extensions, so I was apprehensive. Rocci was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, quickly easing my concerns. During my initial visit, I was impressed by the ambiance of her studio and its convenient location. It was truly serene. Candles, aromatherapy, music – she even placed a pillow under my injured ankle to elevate it! I opted for the "volume" set, which was subtly glamorous and perfect for me. The first application took a couple of hours, and Rocci explained everything beforehand, assisting me in selecting a style that suited my eye shape and lifestyle. As a performer, I fretted about wearing lashes on stage and how they would interact with my extensions. Rocci always made an effort to schedule my fills right after those performances. There were no hidden costs, and she was completely transparent about the maintenance expenses. Fills are required every 2 weeks. Rocci is also incredibly warm and easy to converse with. She takes her time and ensures that you are completely satisfied with your final look. Since getting the extensions, I have become much quicker at getting ready. I can simply get up, apply some skincare, do my brows and lip gloss, and head out the door. On days when I have more time, I can still play around with my eyeshadow looks and do almost everything I used to do before getting extensions, except for applying false lashes. The aftercare involves washing the lashes with a special extension cleanser (readily available on Amazon or Ulta at a reasonable price) and being cautious to avoid substances that could weaken the extension glue. Rocci provides you with a handy sheet and discusses these details with you. If you have been curious about getting extensions, definitely give Rocci a chance! I have included some photos of my extensions, showcasing different angles and some with makeup, some without, to give you an idea of the volume set's appearance. As I age, I value these little luxuries that boost my confidence and save me time. If you decide to get them, I'm sure you'll adore your extensions too!
