If I could give zero stars, I would. Yesterday, I went in for a pedicure and manicure. My big toe cuticle was badly cut and bleeding, and the technician had to redo my toes twice due to repeated mistakes. It was evident that no one in the salon had a proper nail license. When I requested to speak with the owner or supervisor, the nail technician, Emily, had an attitude and claimed the owner was not present. Emily managed to fix my toenail polish but the overall service was unsatisfactory. The same technician who cut my cuticle and left them bleeding also polished the rest of my nails, which I was still not pleased with. When I called today to speak with a supervisor, I received the same response - no supervisor available, and unsure of when they would be back. It appears that no one in the salon is properly licensed to perform nail services.
I had an appointment at 2 PM with my friend for SNS nails. Unfortunately, my friend's service did not start until 2:30, and I was not even acknowledged until 3:40. I was only asked if I still wanted my nails done, despite another client who arrived at 3 o'clock being serviced before me. There was no apology for the long wait. I ran out of time for my nails to be done. Appointments should not be scheduled if they cannot be honored within a reasonable time frame. This was a poorly handled situation that left me dissatisfied.
I entered with a vision in mind and specifically requested for Alex to do my nails. However, Alex was not available and the person who worked on my nails did a terrible job. My cuticles were flooded with paint and top coat, and the design turned out horribly. I had to go to my regular salon to have the paint removed because of the poor application. When I returned the next day to request a partial refund, the manager gave me attitude and blamed me for not returning to their salon for a fix. Now I am out $70 due to the incompetence of their nail technician.
