For years, Lavish was my preferred nail salon. I always left satisfied and received compliments on my nails. However, my recent visit was disappointing. I requested SNS with tips and a manicure, but the technician did not replace my existing tips before applying the new color. Despite my concerns, he proceeded without explanation. The manicure itself was subpar - cold water for cuticles, uneven trimming, and no cuticle softener or massage. To make matters worse, I was charged $78 for unsatisfactory service. Despite expressing my dissatisfaction, I received a mere $6 discount. I left, vowing never to return. Later, I noticed the top layer of polish was already peeling off. A truly disheartening experience at Lavish Nail.
I paid $25 for a simple nail paint, no shaping or manicure. The result was disappointing - uneven paint application far from the cuticles, resembling weeks of growth. The service lacked attention to detail, and certain spots were missed. While the staff was pleasant and the salon clean, the quality of the nail paint did not meet expectations.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent salon visit was exceptionally poor. Despite my friends' positive experiences, my mani/pedi was a letdown. The chair massage was ineffective, and the pedicure lacked thoroughness. The manicurist was impolite, neglecting to inquire about my preferences and rushing through the service. The gel french manicure was a disaster - nails cut too short, uneven shaping, thick french tips, and excess paint on my skin. I will be removing the polish as soon as possible. While my friend had a positive experience with Lilly, my own encounter was far from satisfactory.
