I have been a patron of AJs since my youth. Unfortunately, a single negative experience had to taint it. Taylor charged me 15$ to remove my gel-dipped nails. There was no proper service provided. Instead, they used an acrylic nail to forcefully detach my nails. Not only was this painful and something I could have done myself at home, when I inquired why they weren't soaking them off, the response was "it's quicker and easier for me". After forcibly removing each nail, there was no effort to clean off the old nail glue, tend to my cuticles, or apply a glossy finish. I thought maybe with this swift 5-minute process, they wouldn't charge me. But no! What was I charged for? So I paid the 15$ and insisted on a glossy finish at least. What a letdown. I had never visited this place and it had been nearly 2 years since I last pampered my nails. I walked in with a vision and was matched with Alex who assured me she would do her utmost to fulfill it... she exceeded all expectations and turned my nail fantasies into reality! I will definitely be returning to see Alex again!
Our nail artist consistently goes above and beyond to accommodate us and offers valuable suggestions when we're indecisive. She has a knack for creativity, and my nails always turn out stunning, garnering nothing but praise when I'm out and about. I truly appreciate her gentle touch, especially since I'm undergoing chemotherapy and my hands are constantly tender. She is truly exceptional.
