Arriving in United States has been such a delightful, uplifting experience for me. Alex is extraordinary and incredibly talented at what they do. Their demeanor puts me at ease and they are knowledgeable! The team is always courteous, professional, and cheerful. The ambiance is serene, spotless, and relaxing. I adore this place 💕 …
Taylor was my nurse/technician. They assessed me and suggested the most suitable treatments for my requirements. They also administered my treatments. Taylor is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, skilled, and very professional. Jamie (the manager) goes above and beyond to assist all the clients at United States Midlothian. Morgan (Meg) is mostly at the front desk and thoroughly educated me about the product line United States carries and also arranged my appointments to accommodate “my” schedule. It’s always a pleasure seeing them, knowing they’re there to assist you to their best ability. Overall, definitely a 5+ star team!
This evaluation isn’t about the entire establishment but solely about this particular instance. I had a consultation with Alex (absolutely fantastic) whom i’ve been visiting for over a year and we discussed my desired procedures and how they would be carried out. An issue arose, and I couldn’t book with them so I was scheduled with another individual here. I assumed that I could convey to her in the same manner that I did with Alex and she would understand what needed to be done. I indicated the area that had lost volume, and informed her where we were planning to place the filler exactly as it was discussed with Alex. I had been receiving filler for about 3 years prior to this and I’m aware that not much filler can be safely injected into certain areas like nasal folds. However, the plan with Alex was to inject a small amount into the nasal labia folds, and a bit in other facial areas excluding my cheeks because I did not want filler there. After explaining this to her, and stating that I did not want filler in my cheeks, I feel like she completely disregarded my wishes. Before commencing the injections, she made me wear a mask over my lidocaine cream claiming it “aids in cream absorption” (never done this at United States Derm and never had an issue before with lidocaine cream) but it caused a burning sensation on my skin… (i did inform her it was burning this) I believe the burning sensation made the injections more uncomfortable. She also placed most of the filler where I explicitly stated I did not want any filler at all, which is my cheeks. I understand that the injector is obviously more knowledgeable than I am about injecting, but I still feel like she completely disregarded my wishes and for the first time since i’ve been getting filler, I left dissatisfied. Following the injections, I experienced more tenderness than usual in the areas where the lidocaine was applied, and I could sense that my skin was irritated from wearing the mask over the lidocaine. I was displeased with my results because the issue I wanted to address still persists. It was a waste of my money and time, and i wish she would have listened or simply said “hey I don’t understand what you want” instead of doing as she pleased.
