It's not entirely fair to judge based on personal preferences. I prefer a more robust, athletic massage style. This doesn't reflect poorly on my therapist; rather, she may be better suited for my wife than for me. I do take issue with Massage Envy's display of industry tipping norms. How is $30 considered 20% of a $75 service? A $25 tip equates to 30% of the massage cost. I find it off-putting to be labeled as stingy or below the "industry standard" when I'm leaving a 30% tip.
The team at Massage Envy in Hillsborough is incredibly welcoming. Having recently relocated from FL, they made me feel immediately at ease. Solomon, in particular, is an outstanding massage therapist with a knack for deep tissue work. I highly endorse him for those seeking relief from knots and tension.
Mike is truly exceptional. He excels in addressing my areas of concern: neck and shoulder tension, tight leg muscles, and upper back discomfort during my recent session. He also skillfully worked on my sinuses to alleviate congestion pressure. I wholeheartedly recommend Mike.
