I finally made it to the nail salon after wanting to pamper myself for ages. I had heard great things about Lavish Nails, so I decided to take a chance and treat myself today. I'm so happy I did because my experience with Kathy, the owner, was fantastic. Her husband was also there, being incredibly helpful. The atmosphere was lovely, and Kathy made me feel absolutely stunning.
I usually do my own Color Streets nail applications, but it had been a while since I had my cuticles taken care of. I requested a nail polish removal and a simple manicure without any color or clear coat. However, the person attending to me only spent 15 minutes using an electric tool to remove my polish, soaked my nails for a mere 30 seconds, and then roughly handled my cuticles. I'm questioning if being charged $35 for 15 minutes was fair. They did quickly apply some oil and lotion for a couple of minutes. To top it off, I foolishly left a $2 tip on top of the $35!
