I had a Phenomenal Experience at Balboa Medical Center & Spa! Nurse Claire warmly greeted me and I had a very pleasant session with My Injector. My results turned out exactly as I desired, maintaining a tasteful yet alluring appearance. Will definitely be coming back.
My interaction with this Doctor and facility has been below par. I visited a month ago through a voucher for restylane under my eyes. I was clear on my preference as I've undergone this procedure numerous times in recent years. However, the Doctor persistently tried to 'persuade & inform' me that my desired filler placement was 'incorrect'. He delved into facial 'structure' and bone components that were irrelevant for this 'Cosmetic approach. I eventually yielded to his suggestions and the outcome was one side/cheek appearing 2 TIMES LARGER than the other. He sculpted it in a way that mirrors his OWN cheeks, which seem exaggerated and protruding. (he and his team perhaps find these pointed cheeks appealing. They appear exaggerated and unnatural - the exact opposite of the desired effect for such a procedure). When I reached out weeks later and two friends validated my assessment, he demanded an additional $200+ to inject small doses of an enzyme that would reduce some of the puffiness caused by the filler. If he had just listened to the patient and not been so arrogant and stubborn, the outcome would have been better. 'C-' grade performance. I need to seek correction elsewhere. Unimpressed with this Doctor and will not return. A glance at Yelp reveals additional complaints about his rudeness, arrogance, and lack of skill in administering these products in a sensitive and aesthetically pleasing manner. Overall, not satisfactory.
