Around two weeks ago, I had an appointment with Avery at Chemistry salon. The salon was impeccably clean and followed strict pandemic protocols. Upon arrival, I expressed my desire to achieve a ginger hue to Avery. She assisted me in pinpointing the perfect color for my hair, surpassing any picture I had shown her. Her consultation was flawless, and she personalized the color based on a photo from my phone. The result was flawless and incredibly rich, leaving my hair feeling healthier than before. Additionally, Avery provided a haircut for me. With my fine, slow-growing, and vividly colored hair, she took the time to create a haircut that perfectly suited my body and face, without compromising too much length. She truly amazed me. I have never experienced a hair service that left me feeling as happy and radiantly confident as what Avery did for me at Chemistry. This service truly lifted my spirits during these challenging times, and I am immensely grateful for someone as talented as Avery. You will not be disappointed!

I received a voucher for a pampering session before my wedding. It was my first visit to this salon, but I am definitely planning a return trip. The service was top-notch, with a warm welcome that included a smile and a choice of hot drink (I opted for apple cider 😏). The nail technician did an exceptional job, as evident from the compliments I received. She was knowledgeable, explaining each step and the reasons behind her techniques, which I found reassuring given my past acrylic mishap that deterred me for a decade lol.

I really, really wanted to adore this salon. During my consultation with the salon owner Shayna, I mentioned my plan to get a weave for my upcoming SPECIAL DAY, marking my first time trying one. Shayna recommended a sew-in wig. Despite my nervousness about its natural appearance, Shayna reassured me. I trusted her and paid $500. Unfortunately, the weave looked anything but natural. It was far from it. Immediately upon leaving the salon, I noticed the glaring issues. The wig/weave appeared extremely artificial, with the hairline net and glue visible. Upon my return later that day, Shayna seemed perplexed about the visible glue. She attempted to rectify the situation with my and my sisters' assistance. My sisters had to offer multiple suggestions and guidance. It was a chaotic ordeal. While the hairline did improve, it still lacked a natural look. Additionally, the wig's shape was off, sporting a significant bulge at the crown.
