I had acrylics on my nails and a gel pedicure, I used to frequent this place for nail services but this was my first visit in about 2 years due to job restrictions. I had made an appointment weeks in advance for a special occasion. The pedicure was wonderful and my toes looked beautiful. However, when it came to my fingers, I was quite surprised by the rushed appearance. There was acrylic on my skin and I got nicked with the drill. Additionally, due to excess acrylic on my cuticles and skin, I had to file my own nails at home around the edges because there was acrylic on the underside of my nails, causing them to lift within 4 days near the cuticle. I had my nails for less than 2 weeks and had to remove them at home tonight due to how poorly they were holding up. I had requested no gel on my fingers but it was still applied and I was charged for it. I paid $95 and was dissatisfied with the rushed outcome for the price. Hopefully, this was just an isolated incident, but given the special occasion I had mentioned, it was disheartening to see the results.
I wish I could bring Alex and Taylor back with me to Chicago. They accommodated my dad and me yesterday right before our function. The skill and attention to detail are top-notch. Today we had pedicure appointments and I must say it was the best pedicure experience I've ever had! They were incredibly kind and we are looking forward to visiting again when we're in town.
This nail salon is fantastic... reasonable prices, top-notch products, services, and technicians! I've tried both Acrylic and dip and had no issues with either. As a busy individual (gardening, repairing fences, cleaning, etc..) who is tough on my nails 💅, they stay put and don't lift. AMAZING nail salon. I highly recommend it...
