My premier stop at The Towne Crier Cafe was prompted by a desire to catch up with my pal, a member of Satisfaction/ The International Rolling Stones Show. To single out just one element of this establishment would be a disservice. It's a cohesive team, from Fredy behind the bar to a young lady (her name eluded me, but she wore a stunning blouse) who seated me. My server, Ryan, and the gentleman who brought my meal were all exceptional. Much gratitude for a thoroughly pleasant initial visit. I opted for the Blackened Catfish with Adirondack fries, and it was exquisite. Cooked to perfection for my taste. To the Management, you have an exceptional Team.
Absolutely adored it. Attended to see a band and had an absolute blast. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly. The street is lined with numerous bakeries and other charming stores. There is a parking lot nearby, and though street parking can be challenging at times, it is available.
A fantastic spot for food and drinks, showcasing alternative, indie, singer-songwriter acts. The venue boasts two rooms, with a dedicated open mic every Thursday and a jazz brunch on weekends in the front (Salon) room. The back (Main Stage) hosts renowned acts. The drinks are superb, the food is generally delightful with a diverse range of options including Middle Eastern delicacies, burgers, chicken, and fish dishes. The on-site baked desserts (cakes and pies) are unparalleled in town! A wonderful place for hanging out at the bar, attending a concert, hosting private events, dances, or enjoying a comprehensive night out.
