The service was quick and gentle on my nails. However, I was not pleased when I explicitly requested regular nail polish but was given gel polish without prior notice, attempting to upsell me without transparency. After a period of not having nails, I visited to have them done. The technician filed my nails vigorously, causing scratches on my skin and cuticles, resulting in abrasions. Subsequently, while using the drill, she cut my fingers, causing them to bleed. I contacted the proprietor, David. He requested that I send him photographs, which I promptly did. He mentioned he would speak with the technician and get back to me. It has been more than 24 hours, and though he has seen my messages, he has not responded. My ring finger is inflamed, red, and tender to the touch. As a person with Type 1 Diabetes, finger cuts can pose a risk to my health.
