A fantastic and hygienic establishment. The massage was top-notch for the price, with a one-hour body massage costing $35 and a 30-minute foot massage priced at $15. Very affordable! The only downside is the use of curtains instead of sheetrock walls between rooms, leading to loud conversations among staff members. Many clients may find this lack of privacy uncomfortable. I have been a devoted patron of yumi for 6 years now, their location is quite a distance from me since relocating from flushing... but I make the journey because I admire their craftsmanship. Their lash services are reasonably priced and efficient. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment. Extremely disappointing customer service experience. The staff was impolite and unhelpful. I simply wanted a basic haircut and no one seemed willing to assist me. I was informed that a haircut costs $65?! This price supposedly includes a shampoo, but my hair is already clean from two days ago, and I prefer not to get it wet due to the cold weather. All the hairdressers blatantly ignored me. This establishment prides itself on procedures being "performed by a doctor." However, the thermage treatment I received today was actually administered by a trainee (without a visible license). Readers can imagine my disappointment in paying for a doctor's service only to be treated like a test subject. Even in a medical setting, the presence of a trainee should require patient consent. While thermage may not be a medical procedure, I would have appreciated prior notification. The doctor began the treatment on my face and then paused to instruct the trainee on the next steps. I felt like a practice subject for them.
