City Nails

My nails seem like fake ones, clumpy and poorly done. When he accidentally scratched or cut me, he yelled "DON'T MOVE" even though I was still. Despite the visibly poor quality, they still charged me and my friend $55 each. I won't return. They were nice, but that doesn't excuse the bad outcome. It was my friend's first time, and she didn't enjoy it. I left with a slight finger bleed, and the woman who looked at my nails made me pay $55. I feel like I could get better nails for $1 online. We paid $110 total, half on card and half in cash. They might have been worth $25 for the time spent, but they didn't meet my expectations.

The man with the gold chain at the front did my nails on Wednesday. I came for a fill after a walk-in two weeks prior with a different lady. He insisted on soaking them off, which I didn't expect. He didn't soak them but forcefully ripped each nail off, causing pain. When I showed him the nails I wanted, he seemed annoyed and unhappy with my request for longer nails. Throughout the 3-hour process, he complained to coworkers, calling them "witch nails." I understood as I speak Vietnamese but didn't react to avoid conflict. He kept filing and filling repeatedly. The dip powder he used (I asked for acrylic) seeped onto my skin, and I had to clean it myself. He didn't clean up properly. He seemed inexperienced as it shouldn't take 3 hours and be painful. While filing, he cut my skin on three fingers, causing more pain. The nails were uneven, a terrible experience, and I was charged for a full set despite requesting a fill. It's been two days, and my nails are already lifting. On the third day, my finger hurt enough to remove it, revealing the damage he caused. Two nails have snapped, disappointing and upsetting. Their response is generic, showing they don't care to rectify the situation or address the technician's behavior. If you care about your nails, find another place as they only care about money.
