I've had a wonderful experience with Walgreens in terms of their exceptional customer service. I've been a loyal customer for years, and the convenience of having a store just around the corner is unbeatable. Walgreens is truly top-notch!
I waited a whole day without any communication after scheduling a COVID test at Walgreens. I had to take time off work, only to discover at the appointment time that they didn't have the necessary supplies for testing. Like many businesses in this area, reliability seems to be lacking. If it weren't for the proximity of Walgreens across the street, I would drive to the neighboring town for my pharmacy needs. Batesburg residents, steer clear of this location!
The pharmacy here is absolutely chaotic. Customers are waiting around without any assistance, and the pharmacy is severely understaffed. It's overwhelming to see one staff member handling multiple tasks like drop-offs, vaccine check-ins, pick-ups, and customer inquiries. It's disheartening that Walgreens would allow such immense pressure on their employees. The situation only seems to be getting worse as I observe. The staff member managing the front is even handling deliveries on top of everything else. It's appalling to witness the staff being overworked and the customers facing long wait times. As someone who has managed retail for years, I would never tolerate such exploitation of employees. If I were in charge, I would shut down the store until adequate staff were provided. Walgreens, you have a remarkable employee who is managing all this stress with a smile, despite the challenging circumstances. The situation deteriorates further as time passes. After 57 minutes of waiting for my shots, with no other customers in sight, suddenly three new staff members appear. I will not be returning to this Walgreens pharmacy. It's imperative that Walgreens seeks assistance from a temporary service to support their likely underpaid staff. My heart goes out to your employees.
