AVOID THIS PLACE! I've given this establishment too many chances, and each time has been a disappointment, regardless of the service I opt for. The recent visit for a dream pedicure, which used to be excellent years ago, was a letdown. Essentially, you're shelling out $40 plus tip just to have your toenails painted. I only got to soak my feet for about 2 minutes, and now they charge an extra $10 for callus removal/pumice stone! Unacceptable! There was no cuticle treatment, no nail shaping, and I had to request that my entire toenail be painted instead of just half. I received no massage, just a quick lotion application. The person who attended to me, named Maxine, has to be the worst among them, as this is the second time I've experienced exceptionally poor service from her. I've never skipped tipping before, but last Thursday was the first time I did, and I have no regrets. I'm utterly disappointed that I spent $40 on this "service." Do not support this establishment. Their service has been subpar for years now. Head a bit further down the road to Venetian Spa... it's definitely worth your money there instead!
😐 The staff is friendly, but they were quite rough, pulling at my cuticles, and the polish ended up lumpy and messy. The technician seemed confused when I requested one black nail, one white, and the rest with polka dots. Why the need to consult with someone else about such a simple request? Perhaps it's because it's Batavia. Not what I asked for versus what I received. I have no intention of returning!
I had a pedicure here three weeks ago, and I will never return! Just a day later, four of my toes were throbbing in pain. To alleviate the discomfort, I had to trim the nails down. My big toe nail is now just a stub. When I trimmed another toenail, I discovered a cut on the skin above it! I spent 80 dollars only to end up injured! I'm surprised this establishment has never faced a lawsuit. My toes look terrible! Stay far away...
