Tough Cookie Bakery is a quaint sanctuary where history and modernity intertwine. Nestled in a charming vintage building, it presents a fresh twist on traditional sweets that will leave you pleasantly surprised. Their array of gluten-free and vegan treats is not only delicious but also diverse. I will certainly return for coffee or lunch! Despite the building's age, the ambiance here is far from stale—it's vibrant, lively, and absolutely captivating.

Explored Bastrop in October for some eerie activities and craved an afternoon coffee. That's when we stumbled upon everything shutting down at 5pm lol but Tough Cookie was still open and it had such a delightful vibe!! My beverage of choice was the "witches brew" and I adored their pastry selection. The fact that they offered vegan and gluten-free options was truly commendable 👏
