If I could rate this experience with zero stars, I would. They used the same manicure tools on me that were previously used on another customer, including cuticle clippers, nail clippers, and other tools. This is not only unsanitary but also unacceptable. When I raised this concern, they responded defensively. The heel wax treatment was poorly done, and I will not be returning.
I visited the salon for a gel manicure on a Sunday afternoon. The elderly man who attended to me was extremely rough and made the experience very unpleasant. He would grunt and forcefully adjust my hand if it wasn't in his perceived "perfect position," unlike other manicurists who typically guide gently. His aggressive cuticle cutting left me bleeding, without the use of any softening oils or lotions. Fast forward to Tuesday, two days later, and an entire nail has fallen off. I used to enjoy this salon, but this particular individual has made me detest it.
I’m leaving this review on behalf of my mother, as she hasn’t had the opportunity to do so herself yet. We visited the salon together on May 21st. My attendant was Allen, who provided exceptional service throughout. However, my mother was attended to by Mark, who completely took advantage of her. We both came in for a manicure and pedicure, starting at the same time. Initially, Mark neglected to apply any products to my mother's legs, simply wrapping them in plastic wrap haphazardly (while mine received a green mud treatment). During the leg massage, my attendant generously applied a purple gel substance, whereas Mark barely made an effort, applying it sparingly. Furthermore, he abruptly cut my mother's foot massage short by 1.5 minutes, visibly stopping the timer to fetch hot stones. When it came time for the heel wax, my mother struggled to position her foot correctly as Mark half-heartedly attempted to help her, eventually forcefully adjusting her foot and swiftly removing the wax from both heels (meanwhile, my wax remained intact as he finished painting my nails). Additionally, during the manicure, they typically provide a brief back massage. Once again, my attendant was attentive, but my mother received a mere 10-second back massage from a woman, which felt like a mockery compared to the quality of service I received. This experience has prompted me to consider finding a new salon moving forward.
