Incredible experience. The studio is spotless and the staff is welcoming. I had been told for years that I couldn't have a hoop for my nose ring due to its placement. To my surprise, Matt managed to reopen my piercing without the need for a new one, allowing me to sport my desired hoop ring. He was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating throughout the process. I highly recommend this establishment for piercings!
Mt. Vernon Body Art is an exceptional spot for tattoo work. The studio is conveniently situated near the interstate, impeccably clean, and exudes a unique punk/neogoth/hip-hop/anarchist atmosphere. The decor is a delightful blend of kitsch and artistic flair. Clay proved to be a remarkable artist to collaborate with. He grasped the concept I envisioned and skillfully incorporated all three elements into my tattoo. I wholeheartedly recommend this studio to anyone seeking top-notch work.
I first visited in January for a nose piercing with Matt, and despite my nerves, he was incredibly kind and informative, delivering results that left me thoroughly satisfied. Following this, I decided to return for a tattoo with Clay. After a consultation on 6/15, my appointment on 8/31 exceeded all expectations. Clay brought my tattoo vision to life in a way that surpassed my wildest dreams, and his laid-back, friendly demeanor made the experience truly enjoyable.
