My grandma and I had a disappointing experience at this salon. I got cut, and my toe started bleeding. Despite my repeated requests, they didn't remove the callus on my toe. When I showed the manager my bleeding toe and callus, she dismissed it, saying everything was fine. I expressed my discomfort and dissatisfaction with the service. The manager got angry, raised her voice, and insisted I pay since they had already worked on my toes. Avoid this place! Instead, try Elsa's Nail Spa and Lashes near Mt. Vernon and Columbus by DDs.
Just had my nails done at a salon. I showed them a picture of what I wanted, but the end result is completely off. The shape is uneven, and the black polish is all over the place. It looks like a child painted my nails! The technician kept going over it for two hours, when he could have just admitted he didn't know how to do it. I would have preferred a simple one-color nail polish. This is the worst place for nail services!
It's becoming rare to find technicians willing to do soak offs. This morning, when I asked for one, the technician immediately started prying off my nails with a nail tip, despite my discomfort. I explained that I wanted a soak off because it was painful. He complained that if I hadn't cut down the acrylic, he could have removed them faster. It wasn't until two of my fingers started bleeding that he finally used acetone. Now, my nails look damaged and keep snagging on everything, causing pain. However, the eyebrow lady did a great job.
