I am currently staying with my sibling (originally from CA) and wanted to have a gel dip manicure done for an upcoming wedding. I usually feel anxious trying out new nail salons, but this place exceeded my expectations! Grace, my nail technician, did an impeccable job with my nails - they were neatly shaped, all edges and corners taken care of. I am thrilled with the outcome and will definitely make this my go-to salon whenever I'm in town again.
Today, Rebecca did my gel manicure. I requested a coffin shape, but she insisted my nails were too short (which they were not). I showed her a photo from Pinterest of shorter nails in a coffin shape, but she dismissed it by saying they were fake nails. She hurriedly filed my nails into a coffin shape, resulting in a crooked finish. When I asked her to fix it, she only half-heartedly made an attempt and then proceeded to apply a clear coat. Even after pointing out the unevenness, she seemed unbothered. Dissatisfied, I requested a third coat to make the color less transparent.
