I am puzzled as to why I am required to enroll in the rewards program. I adore the products at Ulta, and the sales staff are quite helpful. However, during checkout, the cashier appears irritated with me for not opting to join the rewards program. Ulta's policy dictates that returns are not permitted if I am not a member? Seriously!? On top of that, the cashier informed me that the gift I was supposed to receive was "out of stock." This policy is far from customer-friendly. I may have to consider shopping elsewhere. DG
I recently had my hair styled by Alexandra P, and she delivered exceptional results. I was so thrilled with her work that I returned last week for a hair coloring session with her. Both the haircut and dye job were precisely what I had requested, and I am extremely pleased with how my hair turned out! Alexandra also provided me with suggestions to minimize damage to my hair while still achieving the desired results. I have complete trust in her abilities, as she has excelled in every service I have received from her. She will undoubtedly remain my preferred stylist! The store is impressively well-stocked. I appreciate the Ulta Points system and the variety of scents and price ranges available. There is a plethora of choices to browse through. However, at times, it seems like there are an excessive number of employees loitering around. The store does offer a hair salon with limited services such as brow treatments or eyelash enhancements. It is a nice touch that they provide a complimentary small birthday gift. * While I am a fan of the points system, I do find it quite frustrating that the websites and apps frequently fail to function properly in-store. Furthermore, dealing with customer service representatives located overseas who are unwilling to assist or abruptly end the call can be exasperating! WA
