I just had a fantastic spa pedicure by Alex at Gemini Salon and Spa! I highly recommend Alex--my feet look fantastic and she takes her time to ensure your feet look their best. The shea butter and honey she applies to your feet under warm towels during the spa pedicure is incredibly soothing. She is welcoming and easy to converse with, and she genuinely cares about providing you with the ultimate pedicure experience. Thank you, Alex! :)
Terry went above and beyond, came in on their day off to style my hair for my dad's funeral. First time visiting, now my go-to stylist and I'm bringing all my friends along. Highly recommend!!!
I used to have gorgeous hair, but then it was completely ruined by a hairstylist at this salon (will not disclose names). I requested an ombre and was very specific about what I wanted and the shade I desired (due to past negative experiences with hairstylists). I also inquired beforehand if she had prior experience with this technique and she affirmed. However, as she applied the dye, it was evident to me that it was uneven and applied haphazardly. Despite my reservations, I remained silent as I am not a professional and she assured me she knew what she was doing. Upon completion, I noticed significant sections of my hair were missed. Additionally, she left me under the heat device (I am unfamiliar with the name) for an excessive duration (as I later confirmed). I struggled to breathe and felt on the verge of fainting due to the noxious fumes. (I later discovered there are dyes available without the harmful chemicals I detected, but I am unsure if they were present in the dye used? I have previously dyed my hair and never encountered such a strong odor). She checked on me once after 15 minutes of discomfort and then left me under for an additional 10. Subsequently, my hair turned out yellow. Initially, this was tolerable as she promised to rectify it. However, she failed to do so, and my hair remains yellow to this day despite my request for platinum blonde. I even provided a reference photo of the desired color. My hair is now damaged, tangled, frizzy, and unattractive. The ombre itself is equally subpar. I asked for it to be more pronounced- this was not achieved and it barely resembles an ombre. She also incorporated highlights despite my explicit instruction not to. The outcome is messy and executed incorrectly to an indescribable extent. Even my hairstylist friend attempted to assist, concluding it was executed entirely incorrectly. A bystander who entered while she was working on my hair appeared visibly shocked but attempted to mask it to spare my feelings. I am not composing a negative review out of malice, but rather out of dissatisfaction and the fact that my hair has been ruined for the past two months. I have attempted to rectify it, but I am left with no choice but to have it cut today to appear presentable for my senior pictures. I feel unattractive, and I will not be returning.
